Stain and Mottled Surface Handling (Exposed Aggregate Surfaces)

1) De-chlorinate the pool water (After Shock is a product that can do this. Follow the directions on the container). Zero levels of chlorine is what is needed.

2) Add 2 gallons of muriatic acid. It is recommended to combine the muriatic acid (1 gallon) with water (5 gallons) in a bucket outside the pool and then add to the pool water. The object is to lower the pH as much as possible.
